Many of you will already be familiar with Lost Souls’ legendary daytime parties at public life aswell as their numerous other outstanding parties held all over london. Well the LS head honcho Antony Difrancesco and his brother Michele are expanding the highly successful Lost Souls brand into a new musical outlet - Lost Souls Recordings. Crossing the boundaries of techno and dubstep this forward thinking label is sure to be a massive hit with the dubsteppers and techno heads alike, with big hitting release and remixers from artists that read like a who’s who of the techno and dubstep worlds. 

The first release hits hard with Big tracks from techno men of the moment MISC.(Klang, Mute, Kompakt) and featuring dubstep and techno rerubs from none other then Headhunter (Tempa, Ascension) and Perc (Drumcode, CLR, Perc Trax) 

A stomping first release and a fantastic way to get the ball rolling, expect across the board DJ support.

Brian Ffar (Siteholder / Tic Tac Toe / Gourmet / Redline Sessions) I really like the Headhunter mix of Chemosphere. Very creative and artistic, and great for the opening portion of a set. However, the original of Chemosphere is the one for me. Really gritty sounds with a really authentic oldskool techno vibe. I will definitely play this one. Brian Ffar - Siteholder Records, Chicago.

Jason Tamplin (mix2r.com) Misc. - Chemosphere - Lost Souls: Spooky techno here with a nice fat pulsing bass. You've got some sneaky ectoplasm and other manifestations of netherworld funk making up for a brooding bouncey vibe. I definitely like the percussion, it builds the intensity nicely and the atmosphere in this track big and by big I mean you should play it out. Misc. - Chemosphere (Headhunter Mix) - Lost Souls: Feels like your in hot sweaty jungle on a mission to pay homage to King Tubby. After a purposeful romp through the sonic flora you are rewarded with a lush soundscape of dubbed out bliss. It feels like a short track this one but homage is paid. Misc. - Hooked - Lost Souls: A nice techie bit of dubstep that builds and flows really nicely. Once it builds up it drops in precisely the right spot and rolls off in a menacing direction. Heads down beat stomping business this one. Misc. - Hooked (Perc Mix) - Lost Souls: Off the bat this is a big number with a fat as fuck kick and lots of loopy percussion. Straight to business this one just steam rolls right to the end without giving you the chance to catch your breath. Some of the sounds are a bit obvious but it holds together well and if your playing hard this will keep em gurning.

Dave Mothersole (MOS Radio) The headhunter mix is the best thing on here for me. good track.

Ben Irving (Nish Nish, London)  Nice one. Hooked Perc Mix is heavy duty roughness. Probably the one for me although Chemosphere original comes a close second...Rude pounding techno workout :) Quality EP. Cheers.

Alan Chapman (Urban Gorilla) Really love Chemosphere, and the Headhunter mix is very playabole in a techno set too. Will be playing the original out this weekend for sure. Perc remix of Hooked is very good too.

Rick Bull (Deepchild / Freerange) Chemosphere and Hooked are the winners here - a great step to the side of Misc's more psychedelic previous outings. I'm lovin' the 2-step crunktastik love seeping through. Proper tough.

Aldrin Zouk (Zouk Club) Perc remix rocks. Peaktime hypnotic techno mayhem! Chemosphere is also good... like the tribal-ish undertones.

Max Cooper Perc remix is big! Will definitely be playing.

Cari Lekebusch (Various) Nice one two, both Hooked versions are tasty. Like the attitude on those. Pz, Cari.

Alex Rajkovic (Mass Transit, London) Chemosphere is gross, will get bashed a lot, that distorted bassline works well. The headhunter mix is nice too, should provide some lighter, airy relief on the more banging sets. good package, nice one dispersion :)

Ryan Johnson (Cargo) I like this release, havent bough much MISC stuff for a bit but the chemosphere track is class. i love it!
