Barney grew up in South West London, he went to his first rave the day he finished his GCSEs and from then got heavily into the drum and bass scene. He took strong interest in the Brazilian sounds that dominated the scene in the late 90s. However it was not until he studied at Nottingham University that the uncontrollable DJ-ing obsession took hold of him, his music tastes broadened with the wide range of club nights, offered in the Midlands clubbing Mecca. He soon developed a passion for Breaks and Techno, largely inspired by the raves he attended regularly.

Barneys persistent ambition was rewarded with DJ sets at various upcoming Nottingham promotions and was involved with PR are for many events. With his return to London and his new job in finance Barney has grabbed hold of the new techno explosion in London and has joined Lost Souls on a journey to new levels.
