Mert was born in North Cyprus, he decided to move to London to advance his musical skills and learnt how to produce electronic dance music at The Academy Of Contemperary Music School (Vestax DJ Academy). He achieved a higher diploma degree with distinction and confortably controls various production software and hardware especially the award winning Ableton Live.

Since arriving in the U.K. Trems unique deep mixes have earnt him sets at top London venues including Turnmills, The Key and is a resident for Lost Souls daytime residencey at Public Life.
